Serving a 27-county area in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan, the 794-bed hospital is staffed by more than 4,800 professional health care employees. Patients at The Toledo Hospital have access to the area’s largest board-certified medical staff, comprised of more than 1,000 primary care and specialty physicians.
 
For 14 consecutive years, residents of Greater Toledo have named The Toledo Hospital the Consumer Choice Award winner in our market. National Research Corporation (NRC) provides annual Consumer Choice Awards for the most-preferred hospitals in more than 300 U.S. markets. NRC honors hospitals with the highest quality and image ratings in their market, based on the nationally syndicated Healthcare Market Guide study of more than 250,000 households. The Toledo Hospital is the only hospital in northwest Ohio to receive this honor.
